Brunch at Rock Bottom

I was feeling down when I woke last Sunday morning. My Ravens had lost their playoff game the night before and I woke up depressed and with a bit of a headache after drowning my sorrows after the game. I really needed a pick-me-up.

I found what I needed at Rock Bottom in Bethesda. We went out for an early lunch before the NFL playoff games started on Sunday and ordered off the brunch menu. I found comfort in a Denny’s Grand Slam-style plate of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes.

Even better relief came in the form of a snifter of 13th Anniversary Ale! The good times returned with this glass of delicious Belgian-style Strong Pale Ale.  Beth enjoyed a snifter of the tasty and complex Abbey Dubbel.

There’s nothing like a visit to your local brew pub to lift your spirits!
