Stone Mixed 12 Pack, Stone Brewing Company, Escondido, CA
With three bottles of four different beers from one of my favorite breweries — Stone Brewing Company — this just might be the best mixed 12-pack ever!
Beers:
- Stone IPA, one of the standard-setters for the style — simply a classic (6.9%, 77 IBU)
- Stone Ruination IPA, So called because of its truly “ruinous” effect on your palate, this massive hop monster will change forever your preconceptions of what defines good beer (8.2%, 100+ IBU)
- Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA, an amazing interpretation of the style (8.7%, 90 IBU)
- Arrogant Bastard Ale, this aggressive American Strong Ale has its own website (7.2%)
Where I found it: On the beer shelves at the Harris Teeter in Arlington, Virginia.
