Another entry for my beer travelogue…
Colorado Springs, Colorado, May 2015 — I was at the Colorado Springs airport with plenty of time to spare before my flight, so I pulled up a stool at the bar at the Bristol Brewing Company Tap Room.
The Bristol Tap Room had five beers on tap, so I ordered a sampler tray, which came with:
- Laughing Lab Scottish Ale, a smooth, easy-drinking ale (5.0%)
- Red Rocket Pale Ale, a hoppy West Coast Pale Ale (5.25%)
- Mass Transit Ale, a sessionable Amber Ale (5.1%)
- Compass IPA, an American-style IPA with a big hop flavor (6.5%)
- Beehive Honey Wheat, a classic American Wheat (4.06%)
